Pismo Beach Vacation !

Now that I am done teaching and Kevin finished his first year of residency we were ready for a family vacation. We spent one week at Kevin's Grandpa and Grandma's beautiful beach house in Pismo Beach. It was just what we needed! Addison checked out the place when we first got there and as you can see by her face she loved it !

We had breakfast at the Worlds Best Cinnamon Roll Place followed by a chowder bowl at Splash Cafe! Both delicious and "firsts" for Addison! She couldn't believe the taste of the cinnamon roll and knew exactly what to do with the chowder bowl. That's our girl!

After zipping along in Grandma and Grandpa's golf cart we landed at the swings on the beach! These were a big hit with Addison! Her smile says it all :)

During our stay we also visited San Luis Obispo, the Children's Museum, the Famous Thursday night Farmer's Market, and made a quick trip to Monterey and the Aquarium. Needless to say she loved all the "field trips" especially the aquarium! There she did a lot of pointing, running from one exhibit to the next, and talked up a storm the entire day to anyone who would listen! One of her favorite animals was the turtle! She must have followed it back and forth about a hundred times :)
