Sleep Reese Sleep!

No more parties at midnight ANYMORE! Well... right now we have had ONE week of straight sleep (some crying but not much) and that is worth a celebration in my book!
Reese live it up during the day and show off those pearly four white teeth you have. But remember come night time that is when the Jones party bus is over and its time to hit the hay! Lets continue our streak and you will have one very Happy and well Rested Mommy on your hands!

Ahoy Mate!

Addie went on her first boat ride on the rugged waters of Eastlake! As a kid I have paddled these same waters and it was neat to have my daughter along side me for this ride.
Although when we were younger we literally paddled the whole way and now the lake is fancy and has super nice boats! Luckily today it was smooth sailing with Captain GranDad behind the wheel! My extended family were also there to enjoy the beautiful day!
Addison enjoyed taking the boat for a spin and being the Co-Captain on board
It was a perfect afternoon with drinks, appetizers, and family.
and a snuggle with Auntie Marlene is always fun too!
Who knew living by a man-made lake could be so fun!! Congratulations Addison on your first successful ride.

Great Grandma's

This is something special about seeing your own Grandmother with your girls! I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days with both my Grandma's in early August when my brother got married. These women are strong, loving, fun, and teach me so much when I am with them. I am always thankful for our wonderful visits. Next time it will be our turn to make the trip up North!
Addison and Grandma Omer share many of the same passions. Two that come to mind are swimming and dancing!
Grandma Dot has also passed down her love for music to these little ones. I love that they are both following in their Great-Grandma's footsteps!
Here Reese is loving all the attention! She was definitely spoiled with some many loving arms ready to hold her!
A picture of all four - love that we captured so many fun moments! Looking forward to taking the girls to Canada sometime in the near future! xoxo

Mr. and Mrs. Omer!

Billy and Magee are Married! On Saturday, August 6th, we officially welcomed Magee to our family. It was a beautiful day full of love and lots of laughter. Th ceremony was gorgeous and I will forever remember the look on Billy's face as he watched her walk down the aisle. The personal vows, top 20 list, beautiful sermon and poem, and music was unique and perfect. The re-enactment of the Dirty Dancing song for their first dance was exactly the same as the movie and was one of the BEST moments of the night! I can't wait to see the video and may need to post it here so all can enjoy! My only wish is that I took more pictures! But sometimes its about being in the moment and I trust that the photographer got amazing photos of the entire day! Here is our little family of four at the Botanical gardens awaiting the festivities!
Mommy and Reese!
Addison and Reese did a fantastic job as flower girls. We opted for Reese not to walk down the aisle with me because she is not good with good-byes and the wagon kind of freaked her out! But Addison did a great job although there was one or two times in the ceremony that I do remember hearing from the back, "I want my mommy!" But for the most part she was well behaved and made us proud! She absolutely loved her "princess dress" and I think would wear it everyday if I let her!
Daddy and Reese dancing
And I can't close this post without a picture of our dancing queen. This toddler moved and grooved to the live band like I have never seen before. She barely ate and only stopped to drink and use the potty. It was hard to get a picture of her because she wouldn't stop moving! Ask anyone at the wedding and this little toddler was queen of the dance floor AND She lasted the whole night!!
I can't begin to describe the overall joy that this day brought to all of us. It was amazing to see all my Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, and friends and family who made the trip out here. Most of my relatives from Canada I hadn't seen since my wedding 5 years ago! The day was perfect and I think the Bride said it best at the end of the night. "This is the best day of my life!" Hope those two are enjoying their Honeymoon in Maui!!! Click Here for some more pictures. In the future I will be sharing more as I get pictures emailed to me from friends, family, and the photographer! Because one this is for sure....I am super embarrassed that I don't even have one of the Bride and Groom to share!! They both looked amazing and so so happy! More to come... xoxoxo

Girls, Girls, Girls

These three little blondies are Busy Bees. I guess its safe to say that the days of having a quiet lunch with my best friend are over! We did have time to catch up but that was interpreted many times by our little kids (how dare they, right!?!). It is always quite the fiasco when eating out but with three little ones and no hubby's to help it was a circus. Luckily there is a fun water area at the Irvine Spectrum and we let them all crawl, scoot, run, and walk around! It was a perfect ending to a great visit - Thanks Tiff and Kayden for a wonderful summer playdate!
