Bye Bye Binkie!

It is gone - officially at 22 months we said good-bye to our beloved friend!
We decided to go cold turkey and this little champ handled it like a rockstar! Don't get me wrong there were tears from both her and I but in the end it was the best decision to part ways! Way to go Reese!

Addie Girl!

There is something about this little girl that makes me smile even in the times that I should really be disciplining her. She is very sensitive and has such a big heart. She always tells us how much she loves us and still enjoys cuddling and if we let her she would sneak into our room and sleep with us every nigh! Its funny to me when she acts shy in front of others because at home she is anything but that. She loves the spotlight, gets excited every single time she is "introduced" into a room, and is currently obsessed with Kyra the Popstar Barbie.
She tries her best to share with her sister even though it can be really hard, I mean really hard at times! I  tell her all the time that I don't want her to get to big because I want her to stay just the way she is now. She tells me she has to grow up so she can be just like her Mommy - Melts my heart every time. Addison is a school machine and loves to "work" at home with me each day. However if I let her she would choose to watch t.v. all day! She is a wild and free spirit who makes us so proud. I can't believe in a few short months she will be 4 - time has really flown by. As I wait for the arrival of our 3rd child I am reminded that this little blondie made me a mommy first! It is an extremely sentimental and emotional time for me to reflect on when she was a baby and how far we have come as a family. Addie you are the best big sister and I trust that you will continue to be a great example for Reese and your soon to be little brother! You are so loved....xoxoxo

Birthday Love

I cant forget to document our little Princess turning 2. Here is her birthday in pictures. Hold on and sit tight because there are a ton of celebrations! We opted not to have a "big" party this year but ended up celebrating three different times: first with my parents before they left for England, then family that was in town, and once again in Fresno. It was a lot and I am proud of how excited Addison was for her little sister each and every time we sang and she got to open presents! First up the worlds biggest cupcake at Omie and GranDads house.
And...Thank you Omie for the brand new sharp scissors, they are perfect. We expect a set of knives for Christmas :)
Then a special breakfast on her actual birthday, followed by a trip to Disneyland, and then a family dinner at our house!
Disney Fun!

Had to include this one - Addie loves to hold hands and gets a little "frustrated" if her sister doesn't want to!

This was taken of Reese last year and we tried to re-inact it again!

This time it was night though before we remembered!
This celebration was followed by some Family Fun
with the Omers and Hillis'

and her new best friend Dora!

Reese in her birthday dress! She loves pink and anything with a tutu!
This was also my first attempt to make a Princess barbie cake! It was a hit with the Birthday Girl! and filled with fun fetti so a win win for all!
Ohh and of course her sis had to dress up too!
The next weekend we headed up to Fresno for a quick stop on our way to a friends wedding. Auntie Heather and Grandma spoiled Reese with an amazing dinner, cake, decorations, and tons of barbie and princess presents! We also got to meet our newest niece Harper. We could not have been happier!

the cousins loving on Harper!

Thank you everyone for helping celebrate two years of this little one! Happy Birthday Reese :)

Two!

Ohh my Reese! You are two - the "terrific" twos are now upon us. Honestly when your big sister went through them I thought they weren't bad. I would tell people all the time that I thought 3 was harder then 2. That is before you my angel! Don't get me wrong I love your independent spirit, your bubbly personality, and energetic screams but you are a handful. I love your sneaky smiles and the way you sing at the top of your lungs when your favorite songs come on. Currently you are obsessed with the movie Princess and the Rockstar and you can be found most days in your pink polka dot tutu. You fight taking naps to be able to stay up like Addie but then typically around 4:00 I can find you passed out just about anywhere. Three favorite words of yours are "I am hungry" and your favorite food is cereal. It is the first thing you say every single morning! You scrunch your nose when you giggle and you have the funniest pretend sad face that I have ever seen. When I get my nails done you always tell me how much you like my nails or if I am holding you, you will say "I like your hair."What makes it funny is you say these things like a question. You rather look through books then watch t.v. and you always need to know where your Mommy is. Sometimes you throw things, sometimes you bite, and sometimes you whine for what seems like hours. But with the bad comes your sweet hugs, bright smile, and huge heart. So we will continue to work our way through your "twos" and enjoy your high heel walking, lollipop loving, and sweet talking girl that you are. love you Reese.

Catching up with Jones'

Busted! It has been two months since my last update. I know, I know!! Addison feels my pain - just look at this face!! But the important this is we are BACK!
I feel guilty each time I look at all my friends blogs and catch up on their lives and adventures. I have the BEST of intentions but when it comes down to it I have many excuses. So lets begin - First off is these two. Yes, they are adorable and 82% of the time they are great listeners, lovely sisters to one another, and just Angels. However, the other 18% of the time they are NUTS! And I say that in the nicest way possible!
Most of my days look like this - Chasing after their energetic little bodies! I love it and love their budding personalties but this whole no nap thing is something that I am not used to yet! I am still trying to catch up and at 38 weeks preggers it is hard!
Speaking of - this is my ever growing Belly. This was taken at 30 weeks
and this baby boy deserves a post of his own. This will definitely be coming soon - but I cant wait to meet this little man who has already taught me so much about myself and about life in general. You may ask if that is even possible, but it is.
Next excuse is this guy - yes that is my hubby!
and boy is he demanding! Haha - that is far from the truth. He is the most easy going, supportive, and loving husband. We have had some amazing quality time lately and it has been a huge blessing for our marriage.
Next excuse - Did I mention keeping these two busy!
or all the yummy cooking we have been up to!
This is just a minor snapshot because I have so much to catch up on. I will do my best but I am not making any promises. I do have the best "excuses" because family time is most important and the time that I used to blog is now filled with me laying low and resting. But I do love documenting our lives and I know it is something special that I will look back on and love!
Until next time - I will leave you with my little rockstar - Enjoy!

The Girls!

This one wants to be just like Mommy
and this one is always right beside (or in this case sleeping) on Mommy
Blessed!
