Fres-Yes!

This past weekend we visited the Jones' in Fresno! Kevin had the week off for vacation and so we decided to make the trip up North one last time before our baby comes! We love visiting Grandma and Grandpa Jones!

We also got to spend time with Auntie Heather and Uncle Sam!

We started out the vacation with a swim and a great family bbq at the Dalesandro's!

Days away from giving birth Heather put together an amazing dinner! She is definitely the Hostess with the Mostess!! Eating at their house is always a highlight of our trip!

Addison soaking in some time with Grandma and Grandpa! Learning about their trip to Italy, looking at pictures, and pointing away! She is always on the move! Looks like Grandpa got hold of her for a little snuggle!

Making herself at home! Addison is already playing with her cousins toys :)

It was also a special treat because we got to spend time with Kevin's godparents, Auntie Donna and Uncle Phil! We haven't seen them in a long time and it was great to catch up!

Relaxing with Daddy after a long car ride, playing in the pool, and a delicious dinner with homemade dessert! Thanks again Ha-Ha and Sammy D!

At the end of the night we knew that we needed to get a picture of the bumps just in case Heather went into labor that night!!

The next day we were busy! It was very exciting because there was a new addition to meet! (No not our niece) but a baby giraffe at the Fresno Zoo! Who could pass this up? So we loaded up the car and Auntie Heather treated us to a day at the zoo :)
Here are a few of the animals that we saw! A bear, two elephants, an alligator, flamingos, and lots of monkeys!

Auntie Heather also met a llama and Kevin pet a shark! Yikes!

Of course the highlight of the day was the giraffes! Not only did we get to see a baby giraffee....

But we also got to feed them!!! Our brave little girl was up for the challenge!!

Not only did Addison get a kick out of it but so did Heather and I!!

Thank you Heather for such a great day!

The final stop before heading back home to Anaheim Hills was dinner at our favorite Armenian restaurant! We enjoyed the company of Grandma and Grandpa and the Avakian family!

This was a very special dinner because it was the first time we saw the Avakian family after the passing of Uncle Karl. He was a very special person to us and we were honored to have him speak at our wedding four years ago. His presence was felt and we enjoyed telling stories of him and smiling at things he said! We love and miss him very much!

Addison eating pilaf! She is a huge fan :)

After such a busy day at the zoo, out to dinner, and visiting with friends and family Addison didn't take an afternoon nap! So right in the restaurant she layed down to get her sleep on!

Only she really couldn't get comfortable but she finally settled down in the car and slept like an angel!! Thank you for a great weekend! We loved spending time with you and although we didn't get to meet our little niece we are excited to announce that Lila Mardel Dalesandro was born on August 11, 2010 at 2:28 p.m. 7 lbs 0 oz 19 and 1/4 inches long to the very proud parents of Heather and Sam! Congratulations!! This Aunt and Uncle can't wait to meet you!! xoxoxo
