Party Time!

Happy 1st Birthday - It is Party Time!
I love getting together friends and family and what better thing to celebrate than one year with our baby! It truly has been...
With the warm weather we decided on a ice cream theme! Guess who loves ice cream, and cake, and everything and anything with sugar! Yep... Big Sis!
We used the green belt behind our house for the party and it was a perfect set up for a bbq, a bounce house, and our music man Mr. Lee. I love love planning parties and all the fun details and personal touches that go along with celebrating special moments.
Turning 1 is so special and I know that Reese won't remember this day but for Kevin and I we took it as a time for us to just stop and be thankful. We are so thankful for her and thankful for all our friends and family. It was a great afternoon and Reese was working her walking skills! The process of walking is so fun to watch. From lifting herself up to cruising around the ottoman and her real first steps at 11 months - she is determined to catch up with her sister. It isn't always pretty but she is a woman on the go and now is up to a whooping 15 wibbly wobbley steps at a time! Usually its more if her sister doesn't get in the way! Ohh... and she will walk of course until she remembers that her bear crawl is faster and much easier! We are very proud of this fun loving walking baby!
The bounce house was also a complete hit and everyone including adults got their slide on!
Thank you also to Mr. Lee for all your songs, obstacle course, and of course all your silly dances. We enjoyed having you at Addison's first birthday and it was great to have you back helping to celebrate Reese.

She was in awe of his guitar! Hopefully she follows in my music ability :) and love for great music!
Love these snapshots and am so happy that someone reminded me to be in one or two pictures!
Cake was also a huge success and unlike her sister Reese did not shed a tear! In fact Reese didn't cry once the whole afternoon. From bouncing on Mr. Lee's lap, playing in the ball pit, and meeting lots of new faces - she was a trooper! I would like to think that she has my temperament... but we all know she has Kevins! This mellow, go with the flow baby, is definitely just like her Daddy!
Thanks Kevin for allowing this insanity and for all your support leading up to this shin-dig. Your amazing! Thank you also to our parents who helped make this such a special day. If you would like to look at more pictures of the party Click Here
Happy Birthday Reese!
