5 under 4!

Did you ever wonder what it would be like to have five kids?!? Well this past weekend we had the pleasure of welcoming the Oppenhuizen family and their good friends Amanda and Joe to our house!! Although they were on their way to the Happiest Place on Earth for a couple of days they made a stop to stay the night with us!! and boy did we enjoy it..... Here is a group shot of the good looking gang!
Amanda and I met in college and have become great friends over the years. We have shared so much, weddings, babies, bible study, PWI (pizza, wine, and ice cream nights) and roommate breakfast! She is one of those friends that your house doesn't have to be perfect for or she would be perfectly happy with eating mac and cheese for dinner. She is easy going, fun loving, and I could talk to her for hours (and we did)! Life has brought us both not only fantastic hubbys that have their own little bro-mance going on, but now our kids love love love to play with eachother!! Can you see the love?
This was taken after going up and down the stairs about a bizillion times and running to her bed to play on! Smiles all around :)
Bath time was triple the fun with this duck, pig, and frog!
I think this next picture was taken perfectly - My dancing little Monkey is caught in the act doing a little dance on Mommy and Daddy's bed!
Silly Kids!
This was also special because we got to meet the newest addition to our "big 40 family" This is Piper Kate and she is a sweet, sleepy, smiley, and happy baby! We were over the moon to meet her!
Reese also got to meet the crew and enjoyed some loving from her Auntie! (and yes that is Dr.Jones in the back cooking breakfast!)
This car was a hit with Tad! Who knew a loud and moving Disney car would be so loved with this little boy! Can't wait for Addison to be able to reach those petals!
I know I have posted in the past but Dr.Jones makes a mean pancake. He has the magic touch and was put in charge of breakfast and he did not disappoint, in fact he showed off a bit.
He made cows and of course Mickey Mouse for our Disneyland bound friends. I was highly impressed and so were all the kids!
This new trick I think was taught from some certain boys because my angel would never have thought to do this by herself....
Here the Dads are enjoying their coffee, catching up, and teaching the kids how to ride their cars!
A peaceful ride turned into Bumper cars very quickly.... and it wasn't the kids idea!
Then the Dads decided to be adventurous and take the fearsome threesome for a nature walk at Oak Park near our house. We love this peaceful hidden gem. It is walking distance and definitely a favorite place of ours.
What a great friend - I can only imagine what these two are chit-chatting about!
definitely developing a good relationship!
and we can't wait for these little sisters to grow up together too!
Thank you Amanda and Greg for stopping by with kids and all. We enjoyed your company more than you know! Amanda and Joe were so fun also to be around and we were so excited to celebrate their engagement. Love you guys xoxoxo
Bye Bye!!! We waved and waved and can't wait to see this family again. Ohh wait, we will see you this weekend on our way up to Davis! Twice in one week is truly a blessing!
