All About Reese!

My baby is 16 months old. She is an independent, open mouth kissing, baby cuddlier, turbo eating machine, and sound sleeper type of girl. I love her expressions, especially the scowl she gives to strangers, and the cheeky grin she gives her parents. Her "I want to do everything that my big sister does attitude" and her dramatic tummy tuck when things just don't go her way are two of my favorite things about her. Reese is sweet and lovable but can be a tad bit stubborn at times. She hates her high chair and prefers all her meals sitting next to Addison at the "kids" table. She loves music, all types of food, and is always carrying around a crayon and a pad of paper or a purse and phone. She giggles and has this grunt noise that makes us laugh out loud every time we hear it. She is a little clumsy when she gets really excited. She loves the park and prefers to climb the stairs and go down the slide all by herself. When given the space she will take off without looking back... but if she does see you following she will run even faster away from you. Her legs kick with joy in the stroller when she sees a dog and when I ask her to point to places on her body she just laughs at me. She is content playing with herself but enjoys following around her big sister and playing make believe games. After her nightly bath she will run around with her froggy or duck towel naked laughing while her sister or one of us chases her through the upstairs rooms. She hates getting her diaper changed and will squirm and turn until it is finally done. Last week she was standing by the toilet staring at it before her bath so I decided to put her own and she went the bathroom in the toilet! She yells Daddy and Mommy a ton through the day and loves to cuddle when she first wakes up. When putting her down for a nap or for bed time she spends time taking back and forth to her sister and this always sounds super funny when we can hear them downstairs. She is still in 12-18 month clothing and picks out her own shoes to wear each day. Reese will only watch t.v. for a couple of minutes until finding something better to do. She will climb into her exersaucer and loves to stand on the speakers next to her Daddy's desk. We call her Reese-ee Rooo and love bug about a thousand times a day. I love the smile she has when I first see her in her crib and the way she hoards all her binkies in her hands and mouth. She only drinks from a sippy cup and is a pro at eating by herself. She has a little blondish -red mullet and a little curl at the end of her hair. She has 10 teeth and considers brushing them by sucking on all the toothpaste and then handing me back her brush. We love everything about her and can't believe that in a few short weeks she will be 16 months old. She is Soooooo Big!
