Special Day!

     Tomorrow is a very special day for Baby Reese. She will be getting baptized at the church I grew up in and that Kevin and I got married in. With friends and family we will celebrate this precious gift that God gave to us nearly four months ago. Although we will also do a ChildDedication in the next couple of weeks at the church we attend we wanted to also present Reese to the Lord in this more traditional setting. Both Kevin and I were baptized as babies and it is something that we hold special in our heart. We are looking forward to a wonderful day!

This prayer for Reese is based on Ephesians 3:14-21

We pray that now and over the course of your life God's glorious riches may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. That you Reese will be rooted and established in love, that Reese, you may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ for you, and that you would grow to know Christ's love that surpasses knowledge and that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
